No COVID-19 restrictions in hotels and restaurants

Restrictions for hotels or restaurants will no longer apply as of April 3.

All COVID-19 access restrictions for hotels, restaurants and public transport are lifted in Germany. Proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative test result are not necessary.

When using public transport travelers all over Germany have to wear a mask. When traveling by railroad with Deutsche Bahn FFP2 masks, also known as N95, KN95 or P2 masks, are mandatory. A mask is also mandatory in local trains, urban railways, buses, subways, or streetcars.
