Hygiene concepts at trade fairs in Germany

After a standstill of almost two years, trade fairs are once again taking place everywhere in Germany.

Trade fairs in Germany are safe. Trade fair organizers have holistic health protection concepts that have been continuously developed since the beginning of the Corona crisis. Safe trade fair participation is ensured by the following measures:

  1. Visitor flow management
By means of guidance systems, trained personnel and electronic control systems, exhibition organisers will ensure that streams of visitors do not meet too closely.

  2. High air quality
By means of modern ventilation systems, the exhibition centres ensure good ventilation of entrance areas, halls and conference rooms. This is further supported by corresponding specifications for open stand construction.

  3. Cooperation with exhibitors
Trade fair organizers are happy to provide their exhibitors with recommendations and advice on how to safely design their booths and plan their trade show operations.

  4. Hygiene standards
The trade fair organizers provide disinfectants in high density and clean all contact surfaces in close cycles. This applies both during the entire duration of the trade fair and during the periods of set-up and dismantling.

  5. Ensuring contact tracking
All exhibitors, visitors and service providers on the grounds are registered with name and address. Visitor tickets are usually only available online and relate to fixed days of visit. This would allow contact tracking if required.
