Accomodation and Travel in Germany

Since April 3, 2022 all access restrictions for hotels, restaurants and public transport are lifted in Germany.  Proof of vaccination, recovery or a negative test result are no longer necessary.

Restrictions for hotels or restaurants will no longer apply as of April 3.

When using public transport travelers all over Germany have to wear a mask (in some federal states mandatory FFP2 masks, also known as N95, KN95 or P2 masks). So anyone traveling by railroad with Deutsche Bahn, local train, urban railway, bus, subway, streetcar or airplane must follow this rule.

Entry Requirements for Trade Fair Participants from Abroad

It is generally possible for trade fair participants from abroad to enter Germany. This also applies to exhibitors and visitors from non-EU countries even if not vaccinated against COVID-19. For specific information on entry requirements for exhibitors and visitors click here.
