The new website of AUMA – Association of the German Trade Fair Industry is fresh and clearly structured and has been online since 6th September. The completely redesigned and mobile internet presence at www.auma.de is based on visual user guidance and emotional targeting under the slogan "Trade fairs – the route to success".
The main content of the website comprises trade fair dates and information for exhibitors – the AUMA trade fair database is clearly visible in the central area directly on the homepage. Trade fairs in Germany and abroad can be searched here using a common search mask. Users can find 5,000 trade fair dates, plus in many cases key figures for up to three previous events and detailed visitor surveys.
"Exhibit successfully" – under this keyword exhibiting companies will find all important information for their participation: From trade fair planning to stand construction, from financial support to benefit checks. The trade fair ABC is supplemented by legal information on copyright law, contract law, tax issues, visas and data protection. Under "Facts & figures", the website provides a unique wealth of information about Germany as a trade fair location and the German trade fair industry. The "Research & education" section describes AUMA's commitment to trade fair research and training in the trade fair industry. For school leavers and prospective students, all training and further education opportunities are listed here, including contacts in the exhibition sector: All job profiles from event management assistant to exhibition manager.
A completely new section can be found on the AUMA website: "Positions". The exhibition industry is intertwined to a large extent with macroeconomic, political and social developments. AUMA is therefore positioning itself on numerous economic and social topics of our time: business start-ups, innovations, digitisation, export promotion, SME promotion and sustainability.
Other new services include a modern news area for the media, a publication module and a new presentation of the structure and organisation of AUMA with members, tasks and contacts. The website will continue to be available in four languages: in addition to the main services in German and English, basic services are available in French and Spanish.
