Klaus D. Kremers re-elected as 2nd Deputy AUMA Chairman
New members: Martin Buhl-Wagner, Martin Ecknig and Henning Könicke
At the General Assembly of AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry on 20 May 2021, Klaus D. Kremers, President of Paradies GmbH, was re-elected as 2nd Vice Chairman of AUMA for another period of three years. He has been a member of the AUMA Board for the Confederation of the German Textile and Fashion Industry since 1997 and has held the position of 2nd Vice Chairman since 2003.
New members of the AUMA Board are: Martin Buhl-Wagner, Spokesman of the Board of Management of Leipziger Messe GmbH, Martin Ecknig, Chairman of the Board of Management of Messe Berlin GmbH, and Henning Könicke, Executive Chairman of the Board of FAMA - Special Association for Fairs and Exhibitions.
Re-elected to the AUMA Board were Jelto Hendriok, Managing Director of Straub GmbH, Dr. Jochen Köckler, Chairman of the Board of Deutsche Messe AG, and Ulrich Reifenhäuser, Chief Sales Officer of Reifenhäuser GmbH & Co. KG Maschinenfabrik.
Bernd Aufderheide (Chairman of the Board of Management of Hamburg Messe und Congress GmbH), Hans Joachim Erbel (Chairman of FAMA until 31.12.20) and Dr. Christian Göke (Chairman of the Board of Management of Messe Berlin GmbH until 31.12.20) have left the Board.
As the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, AUMA has 72 members, including 36 associations of the exhibiting and visiting industry as well as service companies and 36 trade fair organisers.
The AUMA Board of Directors is made up of 22 representatives of the members, half of whom are representatives of the trade fair companies and half of whom are representatives of exhibitors and visitors from industry, trade and the skilled trades.
