AUMA launches a new ‘Messen made in Germany’ film

​​​​​​Key message: German trade fairs provide innovation, knowledge sharing and access to international markets

For foreign companies, trade fairs in Germany are the key tool for accessing German and global markets. Every year in Germany, some 2.7 million foreign visitors attend and 100,000 foreign exhibitors participate in around 170 international trade fairs, including many worldwide leading events. These trade fairs allow visitors to experience innovation first hand and share knowledge. Exhibitors meet decision makers from all over the world and initiate international deals. Furthermore, Germany's exhibition venues can be easily reached via optimal transport routes.

Using these arguments, AUMA, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, promotes Germany as an international trade fair location in a new image film entitled: ‘Messen made in Germany – made for you’. The film is complemented by proven media, such as the schedule in more than 10 languages, which reaches foreign companies via the network of foreign chambers of commerce and the representation of German embassies and consulates abroad, multi-lingual posters and advertising.​​

 

The new image film replaces the old one, entitled ‘Messen made in Germany – World's leading trade fairs in the heart of Europa’. As its predecessor, the new film lasts 2:30 min. It is available to download in Arabic, Chinese, German, English, French, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. Background information on AUMA

​​AUMA represents the interests of the German trade fair industry. Its database in four languages provides information on dates, offers, and figures for trade fairs in Germany and worldwide. AUMA supports German trade fair organisers in their global marketing. It promotes fairs as a medium and works with the respective Federal Ministries on the implementation of their foreign trade fair programmes. It also supports training and research in the field of trade fairs and events. AUMA currently has 74 members, including 37 exhibitor and visitor associations and 37 trade fair organisers and companies organizing foreign trade fair participations. ​
