AUMA and fwd: have published a new guide to sustainable resource management in the trade fair and exhibition industry. The publication provides practical guidance on how materials can be used more efficiently, reused and returned to the circular economy.

During the night of 9 December, the EU Commission, Council and Parliament agreed on the key points for simplifying sustainability reporting. The results of the trilogue negotiations must now be formally confirmed in mid-December.

The ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) has decided to set up a technical committee for sustainable event management. AUMA, alongside the UFI, had strongly advocated the establishment of this committee.

AUMA has now published a guideline for the standardised calculation of greenhouse gases when organising trade fairs. The aim is to ensure the reliability, comparability and transparency of emissions accounting at trade fairs in Germany.
