The 107 national and international trade fairs, which took place in Germany between January and June, demonstrated an average of around 1% more exhibitors and 2% more visitors compared to previous events. Exhibitor stand space remained roughly constant.
Among the world’s strongest
Many of the world’s leading trade fair companies are German. The revenues generated by five German companies during 2013 place them among the world’s top ten trade fair organisers. This was revealed by a study concluded by AUMA.

Trade fairs in Germany also stayed on course in 2013. Despite a slowdown in economic growth, international and national trade fairs reported an increase of 0.7% more exhibitors, the number of foreign exhibitors increased even by 3.2%.
